OMG - I'm dyin' over here.
lol - I shouldn't complain. Not after a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Super Bowl. It was completely last minute, and totally conflicted with the kickoff of the Everglow Party.
Trying to catch up. Trying. And I still gotta fill you guys in on what it was like at the big game.
I will get there. Soon. But it's 9:35pm PST and I've been up since 1:45am PST. To catch a flight home. And now.... I am barely hanging on. But I will get there!

Looking for Blog Contest Tips
Did I mention that my birthday's coming up next month?
Which I would LOVE to celebrate with a contest!! But WOW - talk about overwhelming! I've soon so many great contests, with tons of sponsors and organized drawings... what's your secret?
Pinay Jade and Toni have already given me a head start with some tips - thank you ladies!! But if anyone else has any other tips to share - I'd love to hear from you. Specifically, I'm wondering:
Alright guys - MDawg is ready to get schooled. =)

Moving from the Crib
How 'bout a new change to go with the new year?
I've decided to move my sistah blog here to On the Rocks... and will be closing up the Crib shortly. Why, you ask?
Oh, drama.
lol - and you know how I am with drama... I just slowly inch myself away from it. Goodness, I have enough going on that I don't need any more. Besides - it's SO much easier keeping everything under one account instead of having different logins. That's another thing of mine - I like to keep it as simple as possible. :)
So here is where you'll find all my fun, silly stuff like tags, behind the scenes stuff, personality quizzes and OH YEAH - my minor obsession with Twilight. ;)
Did you hear that Taylor will be playing Jacob in New Moon after all?! Good for him!!
Hope you all had a great New Years holiday!! Sipping a margarita on the rocks... with salt!
P.S. It would've been neat to have kept the comments from the Crib... but I'll live. I absolutely love Disqus!

Focus, girl. Focus!
I've got to focus, got to focus.
I thought I did alright this past weekend and got TONS of stuff done. Talk about productive!
We bought a new car for Hubz on Friday. lol - the pick up truck is about to DIE, and he's been so patient about driving this POS. So we bought a used Nissan Armada from CarMax (I LOVE CarMax - no BS whatsoever) since work is only 7 minutes away from home.
Plus - it'll be HUGE for some upcoming road trips. Whoohoo!!
Looked at getting a DVD entertainment installed, and since the only mofo's in town are trying to take me for a ride, we've decided they can keep their $1,500 quote to themselves and we'll install it on our own. (I hope!)
Cleaned out the boys' closets. Organized all the hand-me-downs from the attic and stored them in nice, neat clear plastic containers, waiting in each monster's closet.
Paid the bills, moved from a manual checkbook register to MSN Money (which I'm also in love with), and got the Armada added to our auto insurance. I think I love State Farm, too, coz I'm only paying $135/month for all 3 of our vehicles. Nice!
I finally copied all of our digital pics both to a portable hard drive, and online at our photo gallery for safekeeping. Though I now need to go through all of our OLD pics, which Kodak nicely put onto CD's for us when we ordered prints, and I need to transfer THOSE to both the hard drive and online. (sigh)
But I also changed our phone company from AT&T to Vonage, and at $25/month for unlimited long distance, that's a bargain from the $40/mo AT&T is charging. Not to mention, 2 free months.
Though I've never used voice-over-internet and am keeping my fingers crossed.
And this morning, I uploaded a new commenting system, Disqus, which I think I'll like quite nicely! I just can't get rid of the additional comment box at the bottom of the post - so if you have any ideas/suggestions - please let me know!!
So while I've been a bit busy on the home front, I need to get busy on the work front. I've gotten some stuff done, but not nearly as much as I should be getting done.
I'm actually thankful that school starts next week - having all the monsters in the house at once was killing my work productivity - lol. Never mind cabin fever!
So glad we escaped a couple times for Knott's Berry Farm and the camping trip on the lake. I've got to share some photos, still don't I? And we're planning a trip down to San Diego in a few weeks, since I wasn't able to find a decent campground near L.A. that had availability. But Dago will be fun - we'll get to see my parents and some friends - and just kick back for a little bit.
But for now... I must.... focus. ;)

Encore!
lol - actually, if you read about me moving, then you probably figured out that I'll be moving some posts here, from the Dance of Motherhood.
Many thanks for your patience, I hope!
And I WILL get those tags up!! I save each and every one, and even if it takes me a little longer than I'd like to post it, I will get there.
Luv y'all!

Mom and Dad Bloggers List
Wouldn't it be neat to have a list of our favorite Mom Bloggers? And our favorite Dad Bloggers?
I notice I tend to gravitate towards Mom Bloggers (to relate? empathize?) but LOVE to see the dad's perspective as well.
For Mother's Day, we kicked off a list to celebrate Mom Bloggers, and we're doing the same now for Father's Day, in honor of Dad Bloggers everywhere.
Just for kicks, we threw in 5,000 entrecard credits in there, but you know what? It's not even about the EC's - I almost wish I took that out. But I didn't want to go back on my word.
In any case - I hope you'll help me put this fine list together, for both moms and dads. Being the host of the Mom Bloggers Guild and the upcoming Dad Bloggers Guild, I would've loved to share my own personal faves, but didn't want to be biased, so I'm really hoping you can share your thoughts.
So if you want to nominate a fellow mom or dad blogger, or if you'd like to be included on the list, leave a comment here (for Moms) or here (for Dads).
And grab some bling if you'd like!

The Sistah Blog
And where the hell have I been?
I've been sneaking in a post or two, here and there, at the Dance of Motherhood. With just enough time to visit commenters and NO time for bloghoppin' or droppin' (entre) cards. It's been nUtS.
Graduation, potty training - guess you can't get much done when you're in the bathroom every half hour. This week is the last week of school for my 1st grader, so it's activities galore and my volunteer hours shoot up. Even if I'm back at work now. I took last week off, but - shit. Time just flies.
I've been wanting to set up a sister blog for a while now... Someplace casual and fun, a place to host tags and contests and lotsa linky love. ;)
Besides, the design over there is SO damn formal - I mean, it's pretty and all - and I LOVE it, but it's so girly, I wanted something to reflect a little more of my personality.
And it's finally here! This is where you'll find all of the above, plus all future Standing Ovation Awards, Recent Entrecard Advertisers and any other announcements.
Plus a dose of any behind the scenes action from its sistah blog.
Welcome to my crib. The Muthahood Crib.
